Jewellery Care
What is your jewellery made from?
Our jewellery is mostly made from either sterling silver or titanium and stainless steel base metals, electron plated with pure 14-18 karat gold, rhodium or platinum. Select styles might also include semi precious gems, natural stones, pearls, beads, rhinestones, cubic zirconias and other metals used in clasps.
All product listings will indicate which metals its made of.
Will I get a reaction from my jewellery?
We don't use reaction-prone metals and alloys in our jewellery such as brass or zinc. Titanium and stainless steel are both hypoallergenic and tarnish resistant, so you should not experience a reaction to the metal or skin going green from wearing it. Items made from sterling silver might not always be suitable for people with nickel sensitivity.

Will my jewellery last?
Titanium and stainless steel are both very hard metals, making them more scratch and dent resistant than most other metals used for jewellery making.
They stand up to daily exposure to water and are resistant to rust and tarnishing, though gold plated items should always be looked after correctly to prolong its luster and finish.
Sterling silver can be prone to tarnishing over time - a feature of silver - but a light polish with a jewellery cloth and storage in an environment that prevents exposure will keep it shining forever.
How do I care for my jewellery?
While your jewellery is safe to wear in the shower or at the gym, frequent exposure to chemicals and oils can change its appearance over time. Avoid sea water, chlorine and harsh soaps and chemicals which can erode the gold plated layer on your jewellery over time.
Your jewellery is a strong, premium product but it is not indestructible, especially pieces with beads, pearls, elastic strings and finer link chains. Please avoid pulling and hitting your jewellery against hard objects to prevent it from chipping, snapping or breaking.
Your jewellery will be suitable for daily wear, but store it in a box, pouch or jewellery roll when you're not wearing it to keep it safe and in good condition for years to come.
Plated finishes last longer when you remove jewellery when you sleep, do work where your hands are in contact with water, soaps, lotions, soil etc.
